The Sacred Pause

Recently, I've immersed myself in what I've coined as the "Sacred Pause." There's immense power in simply pausing—to witness our emotions, to contemplate before responding, to process the highs and lows of life.

The Sacred Pause isn't about escapism, distraction, or procrastination. Instead, it's a nurturing space for healing, growth, and becoming.

During this pause, I've confronted profound emotions and realizations that I once attributed to external circumstances. Phrases like "I'm too busy" or "Once the holidays are over, I can do X, Y, Z" had become habitual. But now, in this moment of pause, I found myself facing none other than my own reflections.

When asked about the outcomes from this pause and how it will shape my return to "normal" life, I emphasized the newfound ability to move at my own pace, regardless of external circumstances. It's about confidently saying no to things that don't align and choosing and embodying all that does.

To achieve what we've never had, we must do what we've never done.

So, whether it's taking a 5-minute pause after reading this email, scheduling a "No Plans" Saturday on your calendar (my personal favorite), or finally booking that dream trip...

I invite you to cultivate that sacred space within yourself, time and time again, until you're you again.
