Overcoming Uncertaincy

Turning 30 was a pivotal moment for me. With my intention of the year being "Reverence," I vowed to honor every moment, cherish my body, and embrace this precious gift of life we’ve all been given. I committed to a year of purposeful living and prioritizing authenticity over superficial things. Teaching yoga as my way of serving the world, and modeling as a celebration of self-love and empowering others. I didn’t want to get so caught up in materialistic measures like income or social media metrics. I immersed myself in meaningful work that resonated deeply with my purpose, my dharma as we say in yoga.

Yet, despite these noble intentions, reality kicked in.

Six months later, I found myself grappling with crippling anxiety, consumed by uncertainties about my career, home, finances, health, and future milestones. Even my therapist echoed my exhaustion, recognizing the weight of these relentless concerns.

Navigating through these emotions, I am reminded of a fundamental truth: life is inherently uncertain, regardless of the illusions of stability we strive to create. I find solace in acknowledging that uncertainty is just a natural part of the human experience. I reflect on past instances when I've embraced uncertainty: moving to Miami without a job or any friends, quitting my 9-5 job with only 3 months saved and no plan or concept of S3 YOGA, or most recently, deciding to spend half the year on the other side of the world in Australia with a new boyfriend (this one’s crazy, I know). Yet things have always worked out. There is a magical sense of liberation that comes from trusting and leaning into the journey, without necessarily knowing the outcome. With each leap of faith, coupled with a relentless dedication to showing up, I've witnessed the universe have my back, guiding me to exactly where I need to be.

It's perfectly okay not to have all the answers. Make the decision to operate from a place of faith rather than fear. Nurture all that’s within — your values, your intuition, your inner knowing. With this internal alignment and wisdom, you will discover a profound sense of certainty and stability within yourself. Despite the external chaos, you will become your own anchor. Trust your decisions and remain grounded in the belief that you are precisely where you need to be.

We all navigate through our own fears and uncertainties—it's part of the inevitable and shared human experience.

You are not alone.

As always, if there is any way myself or S3 YOGA can be of service to you, your company, or community, please do not hesitate to reach out.

I am honored to be here with you.

With gratitude,

Savanna
