ACTION IN ALIGNMENT
My beautiful souls,
It’s wild to think this is the 5th edition of this newsletter, Soul Sessions with Savanna. The path becomes clearer once you take that first step. That said, I would be remiss not to ask for your thoughts. This is a space I’m building with you, not just for you. So tell me (just hit reply to this e-mail)—what do you want more of? What are you curious about? What would support you right now? I’ll always be committed to growth—mind, body, and spirit—and I’ll continue to share the journey, the tools, and the lessons in hopes they spark something in your own.
This week marked 15 years since my father’s passing, and it brought with it deep reflection—on life itself. On the pain. The struggles. The joy. I am humbly brought to tears because I am reminded how precious life is. I don’t want to waste this precious time on earth. I want to spend this life in flow. In alignment. That’s how I honor my father, and all of those who came before me.
(If you’ve lost a parent or someone you deeply love, you’re not alone—and you will get through this. I wrote a blog post to share what’s helped me navigate the grief: 10 Life Lessons I Learned From Losing A Parent. )
One afternoon while journaling in London, something hit me: I need to take action in alignment with the life that I say I want. For me, alignment is when my thoughts, words, and choices are all rooted in the truth of who I am and the future I'm stepping into. It’s less about perfection, and more about integrity. It’s asking myself: is this action, this habit, this yes (or no)—is it honoring the version of me I want to become?
So now I’ll ask you:
What actions do you need to take (or stop taking) so that your reality aligns with the life you want?
Life’s been throwing it all at me—so I’ll be sharing the insights, the practices keeping me grounded and in alignment, and how I’m keeping my health (and my sh*t) together as we ride this rollercoaster of life.
With love,
Savanna
INSPIRATION
Words of Wisdom
My Uncle Hank always keeps it simple. Recently, he looked at me with all the wisdom of his 91 years and said:
“Don’t wait.”
That’s it. Two words. And yet, they landed like a truth bomb. Coming from someone who’s lived nearly a century, those words hold weight. Don’t wait to say how you feel. Don’t wait to take the trip. Don’t wait to bet on yourself, to heal, to love, to start.
Life is too short to keep putting off what matters. Whatever’s been sitting on your heart… this is your sign. Don’t wait.
I love and admire that Uncle Hank is still writing, creating, and sharing his brilliant, funny, and thoughtful wisdom with the world—read more of his reflections at hankgoldstein.org.

BODY
Wellness On The Go
Real spit, I am not your typical wellness girlie. This sh*t is hard and doesn’t come naturally to me. But one thing I do know: when I don’t take care of my body, I feel like sh*t. This month, with all the travel, I’ve been resetting. Nothing crazy. Just small shifts, little actions, getting back to what grounds me. Back to alignment.
How I’m Resetting (Even While Traveling):
These aren’t groundbreaking—but they work. Little shifts that bring me back to balance:
JERF (Just Eat Real Food) – A simple but solid rule I learned from my soul brother and performance coach John Kempf aka Thor (follow him to learn more). When I eat real, whole, unprocessed foods, I feel better. Period. No cleanse or diet required.
ClassPass – Rejoined the cult. I love that I can hit up gyms and studios around the world and only pay for what I actually use. No more donating money to memberships I forget I have.
Face mask on the plane – Yep, I’m still that girl. Masked up and minding my business while dodging recycled airplane germs like it’s an Olympic sport. I’ve got things to do, places to go and I can’t afford to get sick!
Emergen-C – My travel ride-or-die. I’ll take three a day if I even think I feel a tickle in my throat. Call it overkill, but it works every time. (Do be careful with Vitamin-C though, if you take too much you’ll get diarrhea. You’ve been warned!)
Drinking Water & Minding My Business – I found myself getting migraine-like headaches. It was awful. Turns out I was just wildly dehydrated. Now I chug water and sip electrolytes like it’s my part-time job.

Podcasts, Books, & More
Your health isn’t just about what you eat. It extends to all aspects of what you consume: what you listen to, what you read, and the environment you immerse yourself in. Here’s a glimpse of what I’m currently indulging in:
Let Them Theory: “If your friends are not inviting you out to brunch this weekend, Let Them. If the person you're really attracted to is not interested in commitment, Let Them. If your kids do not want to get up and go to that thing with you this week, Let Them.” Such a simple concept, but so powerful. Mel Robbins breaks it down in a way that’s deep, freeing, and healing—especially if you’re navigating tough relationship dynamics. Highly recommend.
She’s So Lucky Podcast: This podcast by Les Alfred has been hitting lately. It’s all about living a well, whole, and purposeful life—especially for ambitious women. Some of my favorite episodes include Gabrielle Union, Devi Brown, and the solo episode How to Start Over in Your 30s. All gems. Oh and of course, her most recent episode with Daria Burke, coincidentally on ALIGNMENT over Ambition!!!
SoundWVZ Collective Playlist: The vibes? Always vibing. Whether you need a reset, mood boost, or creative hit, SoundWVZ, executive produced by my brother Christian Prince, always delivers.

REFLECT
Reflections From London 🇬🇧
While my boyfriend and I are both constantly on the go—meetings, coffees with potential clients, dinners with old and new friends, you name it—I’ve been leaning into the quiet moments. The stillness of hotel rooms. The space to just be.
Being born and raised in NYC, I don’t feel the pull to go out and explore every inch of yet another city. At first, I felt guilty—like I had to be a tourist, pack my days, see it all. So I did the things. The London bus tour. Afternoon tea. Wandering through Harrods (mostly just window shopping, because… yeah, I’m not dropping £5,000 on a purse).
But once the pressure faded, I started finding comfort in the slower pace. In the crisp air. In curling up with lo-fi beats, journaling on my laptop. Reflecting. Sitting with myself.
And let me tell you—when you sit still long enough, everything comes to the surface. The fears. The dreams. The patterns. The parts I still need to work on—emotionally, spiritually, professionally, relationally. The lifelong struggles? Still there, just quieter.
I keep wondering: Will this ever go away?
Will I ever get to where I want to be?
Will I stop holding myself back?
And while I don’t have the answers yet, I’m learning that being in it is part of the way through it. Growth doesn’t always feel good. But it’s honest. And it’s real.
So if you’re in the thick of it too, just know: you’re not alone. The path isn’t always clear, but every time you choose presence, you’re one step closer to alignment. Keep going—softly, bravely, one breath at a time.
You don’t have to see the whole staircase. Just take the next step.
Beautiful soul,
At the end of the day, it’s not about doing everything perfectly—it’s about noticing when things feel off, and gently guiding yourself back to alignment. One small choice at a time. One honest check-in. One deep breath.
Thanks for being here and walking this path with me. I hope something in this month’s Soul Sessions sparks a shift for you, too.
With love, always,
Savanna
